EMBRACE THE UNCONVENTIONAL
Bohemian or boho weddings are not going away anytime soon. A popular style for good reason, boho designs allow engaged couples to express themselves without parameters. After all, the bohemian style embodies everything unconventional, eclectic, and free-spirited. From simple details to all out festival decor, neutral earth tones or bold jewel tones, almost anything goes!
Read on to see just how boho The Bell Tower can get and find inspiration from these eclectic designs.
1. Bouquets
When it comes to the bouquet, think whimsical! Add pampas grass or dried florals for texture. A more organic form with cascading pieces are always a good choice, and of course color, if that’s your thing! For a vintage touch, make it hand-tied with a ribbon.
2. Ceremony Decor
Your ceremony arch will be the focal point of the day and a perfect place to express your style—especially when placed between The Bell Tower’s grand arched windows that allow natural light to pour into the main space. There are so many options to bring in the boho style with your ceremony backdrop, from geometric arches with natural wood, to freeform arrangements with branches, or you can make it asymmetrical with an open arch!
Our main space also features a long staircase that comes down from our mezzanine, providing the perfect canvas for a whimsical greenery installation.
And don’t forget about the aisle! Make a statement by placing something like pampas grass with varying textures and heights throughout your aisle arrangements.
3. Bridal Style
Think all things lace with flowy bell sleeves, detailed trains, pops of colorful jewelry… anything goes as long as you’re embracing those free-spirited vibes! And consider adding a fresh flower crown; it doesn’t get any more bohemian than that.
4. Lounge Furniture
Curate welcoming and warm spaces for guests to gather with vintage furniture that will add color and texture. We highly recommend going with mixed materials like velvet and rattan with patterned rugs and pops of brass. Pro tip: make it mismatched to truly harness that boho ambiance!
There are several areas around The Bell Tower to curate these spaces for your guests to gather, a favorite being our spacious covered patio that’s perfect for your cocktail hour. Our upper level mezzanine that overlooks the main space also provides the perfect spot for cozy lounge settings, a photo booth, and even an additional bar so guests can grab a drink and take a break from dancing the night away.
5. Centerpieces
You can’t go wrong with a collection of bud vases full of sage or greenery and paired with muted florals. Add a rustic element like barrels for cocktail tables, the warm glow of a few candles, and your boho table decor is set. The options are endless.
6. Lighting
Lighting is an important element that truly brings together the ambiance. The Bell Tower’s tall ceilings and exposed wooden beams provide the perfect backdrop for so many different fixtures, and Nashville Lighting & Production will bring all your ideas to life.
Pictured here are some of our favorites—bamboo pendants on our covered patio, rustic chandeliers with a celestial look, and light and airy paper lanterns across our main space. And greenery mixed with individually hung bulbs is always dreamy, like these on our mezzanine!
