The Bell Tower’s total capacity depends on event format and configuration. For seated dinners, the venue accommodates up to 400 guests at round tables when the full space is used without bars or food stations, or up to 330 seats when a bar is included on the patio. For standing receptions and mix-and-mingle events, the venue holds up to 400 guests. Theater-style seating accommodates up to 400.
Are there separate areas for cocktail hour and the reception at The Bell Tower?
Yes. The Bell Tower includes several distinct spaces that allow for a natural flow between event segments. The Patio accommodates up to 200 guests for a cocktail-style reception or up to 75 to 100 guests for a cocktail hour when the Main Space is set for a seated dinner. The Main Space, Mezzanine, Parlor, and Tasting Room offer additional configuration options depending on your guest count and event format.

The Bell Tower is a fully restored historic church in downtown Nashville, featuring soaring ceilings, original exposed beams, and classic arched windows. Its fully indoor design means no weather contingencies and no backup plans. Is The Bell Tower exclusively a wedding venue?
No. While The Bell Tower is one of Nashville’s most sought-after wedding venues, it regularly hosts corporate galas, award ceremonies, nonprofit fundraisers, holiday parties, brand activations, rehearsal dinners, and private social celebrations. It is available for any event that calls for a distinctive, full-service downtown Nashville venue.
Does The Bell Tower offer in-house catering?
Yes. All catering at The Bell Tower is provided exclusively by Dream Events and Catering. The in-house team handles full-service catering for every event type, including plated dinners, buffets, cocktail receptions, and custom menus.
Can The Bell Tower accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies?

Do I need to hire a separate wedding planner if I book The Bell Tower?
Not necessarily. The Bell Tower’s in-house coordination team handles the logistical execution of your event, including vendor scheduling, timeline management, and day-of coordination. Couples who want additional design or planning support may choose to hire an outside planner, but it is not required.
Can I bring outside vendors such as a florist, photographer, or DJ?
Yes, with two exceptions. All food, beverage, and bar service at The Bell Tower is provided exclusively through Dream Events and Catering, and all lighting and production must be handled by Nashville Lighting and Production. All other vendors, including florists, photographers, videographers, DJs, and entertainers, are selected by the client. Outside vendors must be licensed and insured. The Bell Tower’s event coordinator works directly with all vendors to ensure a seamless experience.
What AV and lighting capabilities does The Bell Tower have?
All lighting and production at The Bell Tower is handled exclusively by Nashville Lighting and Production (NLP), a full-service Nashville production company. NLP provides professional audio, high-definition visual displays including projection mapping and live streaming, and comprehensive lighting services ranging from ambient lighting to dynamic effects. Having NLP as the in-house production partner means AV and lighting are fully coordinated with the rest of your event team, with no need to source or manage a separate production vendor.
What is the whiskey tasting room, and how is it used during events?
The Bell Tower’s Tasting Room is an intimate private space tucked inside the original bell tower of the historic church building, featuring a curated collection of over 100 bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches. It is available for private tastings, cocktail hours, and small group gatherings as part of an event at The Bell Tower.
Can The Bell Tower host both the ceremony and reception?
Yes. The Bell Tower is designed to accommodate a full wedding day, including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all within the venue.
What is the rental fee for The Bell Tower?
Pricing at The Bell Tower varies based on event date, day of the week, season, and guest count. Venue rental fees range from $6,000 to $12,000, which includes exclusive access to the venue, as well as table and chairs. Contact our team for a custom quote based on your specific event needs.

Does The Bell Tower offer lower pricing for weekday events or off-peak seasons?

How far in advance should I book The Bell Tower?
