Planned by Elliott Events, Katherine and Robel's fun, burgundy fall wedding at The Bell Tower was as elegant as could be with a little tradition sprinkled on top.
For many guests, it was their first time visiting Nashville! So it was most important to the couple that they throw a great destination party with a fun band, good food and an open bar. And they hit all of those points!
The day began with a sweet ceremony between the windows. Heavenly white draping by Quest Events really set the scene.
A breathtaking floral arch adorned with burgundy florals framed the altar. And bright, floating orchids and white candles lined the aisle.
Cocktail hour followed with light bites tiding over hungry tummies. Guests noshed on fall favorites like cranberry bruschetta and tomato bisque with mini grilled cheese sandwiches, as well as southern favorites like fried green tomatoes and hot chicken sliders.
"Other than the classic traditions like first dances, we incorporated some Ethiopian traditions," Katherine told us. "Including [Robel's] father leading a prayer in Amharic before dinner."
Afterward, a plated dinner was served with little white See's Candy boxes sitting atop each napkin for guests to take home.
The meal began with roasted pear and fennel salads and foccacia with herbed butter. Delectable entrees included red wine braised short ribs with truffle cheddar-crusted brussels sprouts and sun-dried tomato chicken roulade with garlic parmesan mashed potatoes.
After dinner, guests perused the Tasting Room and enjoyed a fun, temporary tattoo station. And for dessert, in true fall fashion, guests indulged in miniature assorted pies.
"Besides the ceremony and actually getting married, the most memorable parts [of our wedding] were the wonderful speeches and hitting the dance floor with our friends and family," Katherine said.
To wrap up, guests sent the couple off through a tunnel of pop-out streamers, which they definitely got a little tangled in!
Congratulations to Katherine and Robel!
