Built in 1874, The Bell Tower is a rare remnant of Nashville’s historic Black Bottom neighborhood, once a vibrant cultural hub and cornerstone of the city’s African-American community. Originally home to Saint Paul AME Church—the first built by freed slaves after the Civil War—the building has transformed over the decades, serving as a church, nightclub, warehouse, and more.
Reimagined in 2014 by the late singer-songwriter Brett James and local industry leaders Infinity Hospitality Group, The Bell Tower now seamlessly blends its historic charm with modern elegance. With space to host seated dinners for up to 400 guests or cocktail receptions for up to 700, it stands as downtown Nashville’s largest free-standing historic event venue.
